 Board of Directors Meeting continues on February 3

The Board of Directors meeting that began on December 9, 2013, will be continued on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. MST.

The Board has also preliminarily scheduled a meeting for April 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. Official Notice and Agenda will be sent closer to the meeting date.

All Co-Owners are welcome to ‚-attend‚" the meetings by calling the toll-free conference line at 800-567-5900 conference coder 236529.

 From the General Manager

Camelback General Manager Jim Rose reports that he has received many great comments about the new Ambiente Golf Course. The course has been rated one of the top new courses by Golf Digest. Group and leisure guests alike have been very pleased with the new guestroom bathrooms.

Next year at this time Arizona will host the Super Bowl and our rooms will be in high demand. Management requests that Co-Owners, if possible, avoid using vacation days at the Inn during the weeks before and after game day, February 1, 2015.

 Camelback Archives available from 1973-2013

The official records of the Condominium Association are now available on line in an easy to access format organized by year beginning with 1973.

These records were kept for many years in the office of the attorney who served as independent legal counsel to the Board of Directors. In 2006, shortly after Steve Simon retired at the Board‚s attorney, the Board took custody of the papers and started the task of having all of the important documents scanned and preserved on computer disks. Last year, we began having our web engineers transfer those documents along with more recent documents to the Camelback owner‚s web site

The result is that forty years of history of the Camelback Inn Condominium‚s official business is now available to all Co-Owners for inspection at any time. These archives will also serve as a valuable resource to current and future Boards, committees and interested Co-Owners.

To browse the archives, click the link at the left marked ‚-Archives‚", then click on the year. All of the documents for that year will be listed in PDF format.

In the future, the Archive page will be updated on an annual basis.

We have also opened a page of ‚-Newsletter Archives‚" where you can browse through the newsletter emails sent previously.

 New Camelback room rates effective January 18, 2014

On Sunday, January 18, the rate for a standard room at Camelback Inn was changed to $459.00 per night. We have been advised that this rate will remain in effect until January 30, 2014. While it remains in effect, this is the rate that will be used to calculate the number of days your unit will be charged when using vacation time at a reciprocal property. To access the list of rates projected through April 22, including rates for Sundeck units, click the ‚-Camelback Room Rates‚" tab on the left. Please keep in mind that all rates are subject to change.

 Units Available for Resale updated

The list of those Units that are currently being offered for sale by other Co-Owners was updated on December 31, 2013. To view the list, log on and click the ‚-Units Available for Resale‚" tab on the left.

You can also download the current Camelback Inn Property Map which shows the location of all the Condominium Units.

 Please take a minute to update your profile

The start of the New Year is a good time to update the information in your profile. Your Board of Directors would greatly appreciate your taking a few minutes to ensure that your contact information is current. The profile page allows you to change your password and to tell us if you wish to discontinue receiving hard copy mailings of documents that have already been sent to you electronically.

The Board of Directors is interested in learning about your preferences and priorities as an investor in Camelback Inn. We have prepared a short survey which you can access by clicking the ‚-January Survey‚" link below the box marked ‚-Co-Owner Ballots‚" on the left. Thank you for your participation.

The Board would also like to know if you would be interested in participating as a Director or as a member of one of the Board Committees. There will be two positions on the Board to be filled this coming October and the Nominating Committee will be seeking interested co-owners to recommend to fill those positions. If you are interested in being considered by the Nominating Committee for a position on the Board or by the Board for a position on a board committee, please express your interest by writing to cbicondoowners@gmail.com.

 Making Camelback reservation requests on your computer

You can make your room reservations at Camelback Inn directly on your computer from the Co-Owners website, www.camelbackowners.com. After you key in your password, go to the ‚-Reservations Form‚" page and follow the instructions. You will receive a confirming email from the Camelback Inn Reservations Office.

When visiting Camelback Inn during high season, it is recommended that you make Spa and dinner reservations prior to your arrival. The Inn‚s Concierge Staff is available to help with all of your reservation requests including dining and entertainment off property. Contact the Inn at 480-948-1700.

Hertz cars can be reserved directly with the Hertz agents on property by calling 480-948-8450. The Hertz office is located next to the bell stand.
