March 31 is the final day of operations for the Camelback Condominium Office. On behalf of all of the Co-Owners, the Board of Directors thanks June and Wanda for their many years of service to the Partnership and to all of us. Their dedication and friendship has made our connection to Camelback even more special.

You may contact June or Wanda at the Condominium Office through Thursday. After March 31, they will no longer be handling official business. If you wish to send a personal email, you can continue to reach them at june21@cbicondo.com or wanda@cbicondo.com.

Please keep in mind that the decision to close the Camelback Condominium Office was made by Host Hotels and not the Board of Directors. Host is the General Partner of the Camelback Inn Associates Limited Partnership which has operated the Condominium Office. Matters involving the Partnership are completely outside the jurisdiction of the Council of Co-Owners and its Board of Directors.

 Partnership Contacts listed on the Web Site

Host Hotels has furnished us with a list of contacts for various Partnership Services. To access the list, log on to the web site using your password. Then click on the Contacts page on the left and click Partnership Services.

To make reservations at Camelback using your vacation time, click on the Make Reservations page at the left and follow the instructions. You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours. When you are on property, Bill Heitzig is available to provide help with Co-Owner issues. You can reach Bill through the main switchboard or at bill.heitzig@marriott.com. We also encourage you to contact the Concierge before or during your stay for assistance with restaurants or recreation both on or off property.

 Expanded information about reciprocal properties

Click on our new Reciprocal Properties page for information about making reservations, submitting folios for reimbursement and Camelback Room Rates. We have also attached the latest listing of all participating reciprocal properties for your reference.

Please continue to make reservations either through the Marriott web site, with the Platinum Reservations telephone number, or directly with the property you plan to visit. DO NOT USE A THIRD PARTY BOOKING SITE OR TRAVEL AGENT. At the end of your stay, be sure to obtain a folio and follow the reimbursement instructions on the web site. We highly recommend that you sign up with Marriott to receive email copies of all of your folios. Once you receive your email folio, simply forward the email to Jana Ocenasek, Gemisys Corporation
camelbackinvestment@trustamerica.com for reimbursement.

 43rd Annual Meeting will resume on April 6, 2016

The 43rd Annual Meeting of the Council of Co-Owners was called to order on Saturday, October 17, 2015, was continued on February 4, 2016 and will be continued again on April 6, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. MST at Camelback Inn. You can listen to the continued meeting by calling 800-567-5900. When prompted, key in the access code: 86238.

 Newly Added Units Available for Resale

First Financial Equity Corporation has furnished us with the listing of Units Available for Resale which includes newly added units as of March 24, 2016. The listing can also be obtained at the Front Desk or from the Concierge and the property map has been revised to include information about resales.

Section 20 of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the Camelback Inn Condominium provides current owners with the Right of First Refusal enabling an existing owner to match the terms of an offer to purchase a condominium unit by a non-owner. If you wish to be informed of pending sales, you may request that your name be added to the notification list by sending an email request with your name and unit numbers to:

This year's Annual Meeting date is later than usual due to the timing of the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur holidays. Future Annual Meeting dates are listed on the web site on the Meetings and Events page.

 Ritz-Carlton is coming to Bermuda in 2018

Marriott International has announced plans for a new Ritz-Carlton Reserve property located on the western end of Bermuda and scheduled to open in 2018. According to the announcement "the site offers over 2.5 miles of shoreline and includes an expansive peninsula extending into the Great Sound."

Many thanks to all of you who responded to our letter asking for your current contact information. We are still in the midst of revising the data and expect to have the project completed in about a week. If you have not yet responded, please do so at your earliest convenience.
