 Check out the new look of our redesigned web site

When you sign on to you will notice our new look complete with new photography, improved graphics and easy to navigate drop down menus. If you are viewing the web site on a smart phone or tablet, you will notice a cleaner brighter look. When viewing the site on a smart phone, we recommend adding us to your bookmark to give you quick access to contact information, reservations and other information that you may find useful when you are on the go.

In the coming weeks we plan to expand the site to include a section that will provide visitors with an overview of the program and ability to view the list of units currently offered for resale. Privileged information will continue to be restricted to authorized users and password protected.

As a result of your excellent response to our recent request for updated contact information, we are able to send this newsletter to your preferred email address. We have also extended web access to approximately 90 additional Co-Owners who will now be receiving this newsletter on a regular basis. If you are reading the newsletter for the first time - Welcome Aboard!

 Distribution checks and 2015 Annual Report

Host Hotels is preparing to mail final distributions for fiscal year 2015 on Monday, May 23, 2016. The Annual Report of the partnership will be distributed soon and will be posted on the web site as soon as it is available.

 May 31 is the deadline to guarantee prime season reservations

In order to guarantee your reservations at Camelback Inn for the 2016-2017 Prime Season, your request must be received no later than May 31, 2016. Reservation requests received after that date will be accommodated on a space available basis.

The fastest and easiest way to make your reservations is on line. When you have signed on to the web site, choose the CBI Reservations page from the drop down menu. Select your arrival and departure dates from the calendar, note any special requests and click submit. You will receive an email confirmation from the Camelback Reservations Team the next business day.

You can also make reservations by calling CBI Reservations at 480-367-6170, a dedicated line for condo owners only. Please do not call any other Marriott Reservations number to reserve vacation time at your Camelback unit.

If you attempted to make reservations early in the week, you may have found that the site was not functioning since our engineers were installing upgrades to the system. The upgrades are now complete and everything on the site is working properly. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

 Finding answers to your questions on the web site

With the closing of the Condominium Office, many Co-Owners have been asking about making reservations at Camelback Inn, reimbursement for recent stays at reciprocal hotels and for the names of personnel to contact for the services that June and Wanda provided. For a listing of personnel handing these matters, select the Contacts page from the drop down menu, then choose Partnership Services.

We have added several answers to some of your most frequently asked questions on our FAQ page. Click the menu button at the upper right and choose FAQ's from the drop down menu.

If you have questions about reservations at reciprocal properties or how to get your reimbursement check, select the Reciprocal Properties Page from the drop down menu. You will find full details about participating hotels, current Camelback room rates and reimbursement procedures.

 If you haven't sent in your ballot - Please vote!

The 2015 Annual Meeting of the Council of Co-Owners has been continued until August 24, 2016; to allow time for additional votes to be cast in support of the proposed amendments to the Condominium Documents. If you have not cast your vote, please take a few minutes to download the ballot from the What's New page of the web site and then mail, fax or email your vote. Thank you.

 Newly Added Units Available for Resale

First Financial Equity Corporation has furnished us with the listing of Units Available for Resale which includes newly added units as of May 2, 2016. The listing can also be obtained at the Front Desk or from the Concierge and the property map has been revised to include information about resales.

Section 20 of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the Camelback Inn Condominium provides current owners with the Right of First Refusal enabling an existing owner to match the terms of an offer to purchase a condominium unit by a non-owner. If you wish to be informed of pending sales, you may request that your name be added to the notification list by sending an email request with your name and unit numbers to:

 This fall the Annual Meeting date is October 29, 2016

This year's Annual Meeting date is later than usual due to the timing of the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur holidays. The Annual Meeting weekend will include important business meetings and social events. The Co-Owner's Golf Tournament this year will be played on the new Ambiente Golf Course. Look for details about this year's annual meeting in late summer. Future Annual Meeting dates are listed on the web site on the Meetings and Events page.

 Ralph Scatena named GM of Orlando World Center

Former Camelback Inn General Manager and fellow Co-Owner Ralph Scatena has been named the General Manager of Marriott's Orlando World Center Resort Hotel. Most recently, Ralph was GM of the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort. When visiting central Florida, Camelback Owners have several options available through the reciprocal exchange program including the 2009 room World Center Resort, Renaissance Sea World Resort and the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Resorts at Grand Lakes.
