Votes are still needed to amend the Camelback Documents

The proposed amendments have now reached between 68% and 74% approval. Each of the proposals requires an affirmative vote of 75% of the total ownership. In an effort to reach the 75% goal, the 2015 Annual Meeting has again been continued in order to seek additional votes. The new deadline is 4:00 p.m. MST on September 28, 2016.

The proposed changes provide important protections to Co-Owners and streamline provisions that have been in place for more than 40 years. If you have not voted, or are unsure if your vote has been recorded, please contact Christopher Gable, Secretary of the Council of Co-Owners at christopher.gable@wfadvisors.com.

Your Annual Meeting Packet including event details, Meeting Agendas, Ballot and Co-Owner's Budget will be mailed and posted on the web site on September 15, 2016.

This year's Annual Meeting date is later than usual due to the timing of the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur holidays. The weekend activities begin on Thursday, October 27 and conclude with the Annual Meeting on Saturday, October 29, 2016.

The Board of Directors will meet Thursday morning. A casual dinner will be served at the newly redesigned Mummy Mountain event venue Thursday evening. Again this year Marriott is offering Co-Owners the option of a special Annual Meeting Rate of $125.00.  Marriott Reciprocal Hotel options in Arizona

As you are probably aware, use of vacation days at your Camelback Unit during Prime Season is subject to availability except for days that you reserved prior to May 31, 2016. Last year there were many sold out nights in Prime Season and as investors, we hope the trend will continue this year. Although sold out nights benefit all of us, it can be disappointing for owners who want to vacation in Arizona on short notice. If you are unable to book vacation time at your unit, remember that Marriott has many excellent options available to you under the reciprocal program and as a Platinum Level Rewards Member you are usually guaranteed space when booking at least 48 hours in advance.

There are 12 reciprocal properties in Arizona. Phoenix area hotels include the spectacular JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa featuring golf on sight, a lazy river and Griffin Club Level rooms with special food and beverage amenities. The Marriott Suites of Old Town and Marriott Suites at MacDowell Mountains offer spacious accommodations. The luxurious Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain is located between Phoenix and Tucson. Situated in the greater Tucson area is the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa and the Tucson Marriott adjacent to the campus of the University of Arizona.
