Board of Directors Meeting scheduled for March 15

The next meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. MST. To listen to the meeting call 800-567-5900. When prompted, key in the access code 5340985. As a reminder, this weekend most of the United States returns to Daylight Saving Time. Arizona remains on Standard Time all year.

The Board most recently met on March 2 for the conclusion of a meeting that began on February 16. During both sessions the Board discussed the General Partner Transition and proposed changes to the Reciprocal Exchange Program. The Limited Partnership Agreement requires that any compensation for a new General Partner be recommended by the Board of Directors and approved by the Limited Partners.

The Board has appointed two ad hoc committees to examine the details surrounding these issues and make recommendations to the Board.

Chair of the General Partner Committee is Board Member Jack Florio. The other committee members are Board Members Gary Torrence and Robert Zubenko who are joined by former Board Presidents Brenda Kaplan, Joel Stein and David Bartholomew. The committee is formulating questions and plans to meet by telephone later this week.

Chair of the Reciprocal Exchange Committee is former Board President Connie Clark. Other members of the committee are Board Members Charlie Clist, Christopher Gable and Biffie Kelly.

General Partner Mailing Available on the Web

A detailed mailing was sent by Host Hotels to all Limited Partners in February. Host also asked the President of the Board of Directors to make the information available on the web site. You can now access the electronic version of Host's mailing on the What's New Page of the web site or from the Partnership Information Page. The mailing includes a multi-page cover letter, financial statements and a detailed series of answers to anticipated questions.

The majority of the information deals with two timely and important topics:

   •  Election of a new General Partner
   •  Proposed changes to the Reciprocal Exchange Program

Both matters will be presented for approval by the Limited Partners in the coming months.

Updated Listing of Units Available for Resale

Eight condominium units are currently offered for resale. For details, visit the Units Available for Resale page of the Camelback Owner's web site.

 Spring Training and March Madness

Major League Baseball's Spring Training games continue through the end of the month. The NCAA Basketball Tournament, also called March Madness, begins later in the month and will conclude with the Final Four Championships in Phoenix the first weekend of April. These events, Spring Break and expected good weather are some of the reasons that our rooms are in peak demand.

Prime Season officially began on December 1, 2016 and runs through April 30, 2017. The Partnership Agreement guarantees vacation time availability of your unit in season if you secured your reservation by May 31, 2016. Reservation requests are now subject to availability. The Camelback Reservations Team will continue to make every effort to accommodate your requests as space permits. Please keep in mind that the Resort's ability to satisfy the needs of group and leisure guests, especially in Prime Season, benefits all of us as Camelback investors.
